Prof. Nikola Babić, MD, PhD, works as an ophthalmology specialist at the Ophthalmology Clinic of the Clinical Centre of Vojvodina, Serbia, as the head of the Department of Glaucoma and Diseases of the Anterior Segment of the Eye. He has the title of an associate professor for the narrow scientific field of ophthalmology and teaches at all levels of the study.

During his career, he has assured his professional engagement through participation in many activities as the vice president of the Council of the Medical Faculty, a member of the Teaching-Scientific Council of the Medical Faculty in Novi Sad, and a member of the program council of the Center for Continuing Medical Education. In 2016 and 2018, he received the award for the best teacher of the faculty – an award for exceptional results achieved in the field of pedagogical activity, given by the Medical Faculty of the University of Novi Sad.

He has confirmed his successful scientific and professional work through more than 90 papers published in international and national journals, as well as a collection of scientific and professional conferences in the country and abroad.
