Prof. Branimir Anić, MD, PhD

Branimir Anić, MD, PhD is Professor and Chair of Internal Medicine at the Department of Internal Medicine at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb. He is also a vice-dean there. He heads the Department of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology and is a consultant in internal medicine, rheumatology and clinical immunology.

In his career he has gained a lot of research experience in immunology and epidemiology as an investigator in many clinical studies and trials. Prof. Branimir Anić is a member of several associations, a board member of the Croatian Medical Association and the Croatian Society for Mucosal Immunity, and the President of the Croatian Society of Rheumatology.

He has substantiated his professional status by publishing more than 100 scientific papers in indexed journals and 50 articles in university textbooks on rheumatic diseases. Prof. Anić is the Editor-in-Chief of Liječnički vjesnik (Journal of the Croatian Medical Association).
