Research Work: Effects of Feedback on Chest Compression Quality: A Randomized Simulation Study

Pediatrician Michael Wagner, MD, from the Division of Neonatalogy, Intensive Care Medicine and Neuropediatrics of the University Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine of the Medical University of Vienna, researched how modern technology can contribute to more quality education about safer resuscitation in pediatrics. His findings will help save more children’s lives.
Throughout my career, I have always emphasized collaborations and networking with local and international experts, which helped me to continuously develop my research projects to improve the care of neonatal and paediatric patients. Participating as a finalist at the International Medis Awards is a great honour for me as it gives me the opportunity to not only show my research work, but to also see what other great people in this area are doing and working on.
