Assist. Prof. Ljubo Znaor, MD, PhD, from the Clinic for Eye Diseases of the University Hospital Centre Split, focuses on eye surgery. He researched the safety of various methods of surgical treatment of retinal detachment, which will, among others, help the patients participate in the process of treatment more actively.

The research work keeps my mind out of the everyday clinical routine and offers me a possibility to develop good relations with my colleagues and collaborators, and the International Meds Award would be a good confirmation that I am on the right track.
